This widget allows you to control certain aspects about each image individually.

These choices will be applied to all images, whether or not they are turned on. The options include:

Hold Processing

This button gives you the option to suppress updating the main display until it is unselected again. It is a very handy time saving device.

Reference Image

At any given time, only a single image in the work area may be adjusted. The user chooses which image this is using the 'Select Image' entry under the 'Image' menu on the main widget's menu bar. Alternatively, the 'Reference' image may be selected by clicking on it's name in the 'Show Images' window. Underneath the list of function buttons is the name of the current reference image. The number of the image in the list is also included since a single image may be loaded multiple times into IDP3. An "*" denotes the reference image in the list of names. It is now the image that moves if you are using Adjust Position and the image that has the other images added, etc. to it during the idp3 session.

Individual Images

Below the label of the reference image name is a scrollable list of images that are loaded. Each image has a line of functions in the list. Clicking on the image name causes the reference image to move to that image. On, MaskOn, and Flip Y are radio buttons to select these functions. The image disposition button is a menu of the possibilities including those listed above for All images and the following:

NOTE: The main display image is the result of the user specified stack operations with its initial value = 0. Images are processed in the order they appear in the Show Images Window. Therefore, the operation on the first image can be add, subtract, average, compute the positive image, or take the absolute value of a negative image. All other operations require an image previously in the stack in order to work properly.
