Cosmological Surveys Some describe the usual strategy for cosmological surveys in terms of a wedding cake - a small area on the sky surveyed very deep, a larger area pretty deep, and finally a very large area to shallow limits. Pieter Breughel's "Tower of Babel" is a much better analogy, ironic title and all. Click on sections of the tower -- on the small scrap at the top for our deepest survey, and so forth. |
