Title:   MIPS Scan Map of M 31 (or M33)              
                   
Objective:   Verify scientific validity of MIPS Scan pipeline products and ERO. Test a long AOR.              
                   
Description:   Acquire normal scan map observations of a 1.5 degree square region covering most of the M 31 galaxy.              
      Medium scan rate, 90 arcminute square field, 2.5 arcmin leg offsets, 1 cycle.            
                   
    Can be the same as:   Evaluate fully supported AOTs (MIPS Scan)          
        ERO: Press release observation          
                   
Place in Schedule:   After aperture door open              
    After CTA/instrument cool down and all other instrument testing is complete.              
    For 160um, the backgrd radiance must be less than 5.4E-13 W/cm2/sr (< 6 - 7 K).              
    After Scan AOT functionality testing is complete.              
    Can be concurrent with other AOT/instrument tests.              
                   
Required Conditions:   CTA and instrument at nominal operating temperature for 160 micron band (mirror at 6 K).              
    PCS performance: 20 arcsec pointing and nominal offsetting and scan stability
