IOC-MIPS_300a     10740C,10830C,10840C,10850C,10860C,10870C,10770C
Title:   MIPS Spectral Energy Distribution Skeleton AOT Validation

Objective:   Explore MIPS SED AOT parameter space

Description:   Execute MIPS SED AOT for all available selectable parameters, or a sensible range.

Can be the same as:   Select final operational parameters
        Tune IPP file as needed
        ERO -- SED
        Verify Pipeline -- SED

Several AORs will be constructed that will have :
      1) Run an AOR for each of the 3 available exposure times, each at a different offset distance
      2) Run an AOR for each of the additional three available offsets at 10 second exposure times.
      3) Run 3 cycles for each AOR in #1.

Place in Schedule:   After aperture door open
    After CTA/instrument cool down:
    For 70um, the backgrd radiance must be less than 1.0E-12 W/cm2/sr (< 12 K).
Location of MIPS apertures must be completed.
Basic instrument commanding and functionality must have been confirmed.
After initial SED skeleton AOT testing is complete.
Before final operational parameters are set and instrument tuning complete.

Required Conditions:   CTA and instrument at nominal operational temperature.
PCS performance:   Absolute pointing 5 arcsec
        Offsetting nominal

Resources:

  duration (best estimate)         1.5 hr
  real time downlink (Y / N)         No
special post event actions (Y / N)         No

Outcome:
description         Perform observations using every selectable parameter available in
the AOT, and doing multiple repeats of the sequences.
can proceed in parallel with other activity         No, dedicated observing.
must outcome be confirmed before next event / test /activity         No
method of confirmation (sensor TLM, data analysis, etc.)         Data analysis
estimate of data turn around if required for confirmation         48 hrs

Unique or included in planned uplink or downlink/analysis tool           Standard pipeline if available for skeleton AOT and data analysis tools.
            MIPS SED skeleton AOT required

Contingency Plan:           Revisit uplink sequence/command expansion, or AOT design.
