MIPS_330a Validate Params TPM

IOC-MIPS_330a     10740C,10830C,10840C,10850C,10860C,10870C,10770C
Title:   MIPS Total Power Mode Skeleton AOT Validation

Objective:   Explore MIPS TPM AOT parameter space

Description:   Execute MIPS TPM AOT for all available selectable parameters, or a sensible range.

Can be the same as:   Select final operational parameters
        Tune IPP file as needed
        ERO -- TPM
        Verify Pipeline -- TPM

Several AORs will be constructed that will have :
      1) Standard mode TPM AOR -- 3 bands
      2) Five cycles at 3 and 30 seconds exposures - one band
      3) 1, 3, and 7 cycles at 10 second exposure time -- one band

Place in Schedule:   After aperture door open
    After CTA/instrument cool down:
For 24um, the backgrd radiance must be less than 1.0E-11 W/cm2/sr (< 30K).
    For 70um, the backgrd radiance must be less than 1.0E-12 W/cm2/sr (< 12 K).
    For 160um, the backgrd radiance must be less than 5.4E-13 W/cm2/sr (< 6 K).
It may be possible to split this test into parts executed at different times based
on telescope temperature, but simultaneous use of all three bands is a better use of time.
Location of MIPS apertures must be completed.
Basic instrument commanding and functionality must have been confirmed.
After initial TPM skeleton AOT testing is complete.
Before final operational parameters are set and instrument tuning complete.

Required Conditions:   CTA and instrument at nominal operational temperature.
PCS performance:   Minimal PCS peformance required.

Resources:

  duration (best estimate)         0.7 hr
  real time downlink (Y / N)         No
special post event actions (Y / N)         No

Outcome:
description         Perform observations using every selectable parameter available in
the AOT, and doing multiple repeats of the sequences.
can proceed in parallel with other activity         No, dedicated observing.
must outcome be confirmed before next event / test /activity         No
method of confirmation (sensor TLM, data analysis, etc.)         Data analysis
estimate of data turn around if required for confirmation         48 hrs

Unique or included in planned uplink or downlink/analysis tool           Standard pipeline if available for skeleton AOT and data analysis tools.
            MIPS TPM skeleton AOT required

Contingency Plan:           Revisit uplink sequence/command expansion, or AOT design.
