• IOC Criticality Determination

  • What must be done before operations can begin?
  • What needs to be done for proposers?
  • Critical = basic operations. Derivation of operating parameters, e.g.
    • sensitivity/saturation
    • optimum bias voltage
    • anneal frequency
    • stimulator brightness
    • AOT commissioning
  • Critical = key functionality tests
    • Test A must come before IOC critical test B but after test C
  • Not IOC critical = detailed characterization, e.g.
    • Ultimate calibration
    • Geometric characterization of the arrays
    • SED slit mapping
