Objective: | Deep observations at 24,70 and 160 microns to estimate the MIPS confusion limits at three galactic latitudes (low background, high, and intermediate). |
Description: | Acquire normal scan observations at 24, 70 and 160 microns of three 5 arcmin X 1 degree fields at, or near the galactic pole, the equator, and an intermediate position. Three scan map AORs executed at three different pointings: Slow scan rate, 1 degree leg length, 5" cross-scan steps and 4 scan legs at low background Medium rate with 2 legs at intermediate background levels Fast rate with 4 legs at high background |
