CAID: MIPS-920 | Title: Routine 24 um Flux Standard | |
System: MIPS | Principal: dhines | Deputy: |
Objective: | Flux Calibration to be done at the beginning and end of every campaign after instrument checkout and calibration has reached a certain level. |
Description: | Similar to MIPS 350. 1 flux standards will be observed in (small field) photometry mode. In addition, a short observation of the 24um stimulator (5 DCEs before and after one of the 24um standards) will be made to calibrate that stimulator and check for STIM stability. The standards are listed in the MIPS SDD. 10 sec DCE and 2 cycles = 564s Stims = 60sec Total = 11 minutes Nominally a standard AOR, but may need stim flash. Depends ion results from MIPS 120. |
