| CAID: MIPS-924 | Title: Routine 160 um Flux Standard | |
| System: MIPS | Principal: dhines | Deputy: cengelbracht, dfrayer, SStolovy |
| Objective: | Flux Calibration to be done at the beginning and end of every campaign after instrument checkout and calibration has reached a certain level. This task is repeated 4 times with different STIM flash amplitudes to test for linearity in the transfer from DN/s to Jy on the sky. |
| Description: | Same basic procedure as MIPS 920, but with stars bright enough to get 25:1 on the photosphere at 160. 160 um flux standard - 11 min Total - 11 min Ph/SR AOT used for all observations. This will be repeated 3 more times but before each repeat, an IER will execute to change the STIM flash amplitude for that AOR. |
