Objective

Anneals should be scheduled accordingly for 70um and 160um.

Description

160um Thermal Anneal has a baseline of 3hrs and less tah a minute recovery time. 70um Thermal Anneal has a baseline of 6-12hrs and 10min recovery time.

Data Collected

  • No DCEs are collected. CE Dumpdiagnostic data is collected in a special engineering mode. The files are analyzed by Ball Engineers. The data is essentially a temperature profile of the array as a function of time before, during and after the anneal. No array data is collected. **NEW** we (IT & IST) have now the tools to be able to analyze the temperature profiles as function of time.

    Output and Deliverable Products

  • confirm that CE dump diagnostic files have been delivered and match the expected time stamps from the schedule.
  • Plots of the Temperature behavior before, during and after the annneal.

    Data Analysis

    Check the TDS telemetry.

    Software Requirements

    Actions Following Analysis

Confirm that commands were performed correctly by analyzing the Telemetry.

    Failure Modes and Responses

Thermal anneal have been tested in the Laboratory and should perform just fine during orbit, if for some reason we were not able to control their performace this implies a top level decision beyond the scope of this IOC task.
