MIPS Campaign F Anomalies ========================= 1. 70um Side-B Ramp Offset Pattern [ISA 81711 continued from A] Status: Open. Description: In 70um data from Campaign F the starting points for data ramps on side-B (left 1/2) of the array had anomalous offsets, with the value of the offset depending on the position of pixels within a readout (and consequently on the order in which the pixels are read out). The offsets ranged from about -5000 DN to about +15000 DN, so many ramps started off-scale low. In dim conditions this severely impacted the quality of the slope images, but in brighter illumination (stim flash, e.g.) the slope images were pretty good. The problem was there, although slightly different in character, in campaign G. Closure Plan: Add a diagnostic campaign, H1, immediately after campaign H. The new campaign will switch to CE2, we'll do a 24um AOR to check CSMM operation, and take 70um dark and readnoise data to see if the switch cleared the problem.
